The Eagle Transporters were used by Moonbase Alpha personnel in the series Space: 1999. The Eagles were modular in design, with different modules used in the centre section depending on mission.

The Eagles used nuclear fusion rockets for propulsion and were equipped with gravity shielding which allowed them to accelerate to 15% of light speed.

Space: 1999 was created by Gerry and Sylvia Anderson, and was first broadcast in the UK in 1975.

Jep - The Single

So I don’t know if you guys had heard or not, but Jep has become quite the artist. His first album has been floating around on torrent sites with lots of downloads. Jep has finally begun work on a second album, and has put out a new single for all of your enjoyment. Listen here. Also check out his last.fm profile.

Phallophone Records is the label, and the album is produced by Jordan “Rush” Johnson. Look for the full album to be released in late July or early August.

Not sure if any of you are interested but I’d thought I would post some of my stuff here.This last year I got really involved in ‘comicbook’ art and became really absorbed in the industry, ill post a few drawings now and again. I finished this one today, done relatively quickley, under the title Punisher vs. Snakeyes. I usually keep my pencils quite loose before I ink to keep myself interested. I start by going in the the linework with a quill and spot blacks, ink wash with a brush and india ink finishing with a white out for the light effects. Once I scanned it I changed the contrasts and used a wacom tablet with PS to play with it (first time), I didn’t really know what I was doing but this was the result. Hope I didn’t bore you to much

This is a new thread, and I have finally settled on a stable server and a consistent image format (PNG) so these should not change every few months…

Some of these are on commission - at least the black-and-white outlines are - and so I am making a (small) amount of money, and also using them as a basis for the colour drawings you see here:

Commission 1 - Arado Ar-68

The Arado Ar-68 was designed to replace the He-51 for the Luftwaffe and entered service in 1936. It was used in combat in the Spanish Civil War, but found tough opposition from the Polikarpov I-16. The E version had a 610 hp Jumo engine, which was replaced by a 670 hp BMW engine in the F version.

Biplane fighters were rapidly being outclassed by monoplanes, and although it stayed in service as a night-fighter until 1940, the AR-68 had been largely replaced by the Messerschmitt 109 by the outbreak of war.

The Ar-68 was armed with 2 x 7.92 mm machine guns.

On the day after the wedding it’s traditional in Sweden to give each other gifts… and while I gave Lovisa a pretty watch.. she outdid me by far by expanding our little family of instruments with this:

It’s a beautiful Ibanez RG320, a closer look of the graphics can be found [URL=http://www.ibanez.co.jp/products/eg_page2008.php?area_id=3&data_id=1239&color=CL01&year=2008&cat_id=1&series_id=51]here.[/URL]. It’s hooked up to a [URL=http://www.voxamps.co.uk/tonelab/]Vox Tonelab LE[/URL] that I in lack of a better amp hooked up to the stereo using the microphone jack. Sounds extremely good for being connected that way, and I can’t wait to get back to my full sized stereo and hook it up using spdif.

I’ve been playing so much lately that I can hardly type on the keyboard anymore since my fingers hurt… and I still can’t play worth shit ;) But it’s fun as heck and even though the setup costs like at least 5-6 times the complete Rock Band bundle it’s worth every Ã¶re ;)

My best friend and I have a band called Gidge, and we make a type of strange electronic music. Gidge is basically just an elaborate joke that started a couple of years ago, and we just see the whole thing as something fun that we do. For two years we learned (on our own) how to use Cubase and, also, basically how to play on a keyboard.

So anyway, last spring we actually kind of finished an album and I wanted to see if you would like to listen to it. I’m not really looking for critique (as the whole thing is kind of a joke to us), but if you have any pointers, I know you won’t hesitate to tell me. I just want to share with you guys what I’m doing really, haha.

Bear in mind that we don’t know any chords, we can’t read notes, we actually don’t have any education in music what so ever, and please forgive the overall extremely unprofessional sound.
