The left hand of the nazi is the wrong way round, Ebbe - should be palm facing us, with the thumb down. Pwns otherwise though.

Awesome piece CCP, great motion and a good use of perspective on the characters, maybe a bit more use of shadows on the parts furthest away (Rocketeers bent leg and arm holding gun) to make it seem more obvious and realistic. Try the changes and post again!

Yeah, the whole arm is pretty screwed up really, but I only really noticed when I had already drawn the hand, and I liked it too much to just erase it…
That’s what happens when you’re used to drawing talking heads and four fingers.

Good idea with the more dramatic shading, Ged, I’ll have to try that. I’ve ordered a proper quill and some other goodies from Blue Line Pro so I’m planning to give the piece some ink when it arrives.

Can’t wait to see the results, Ill try and find a good guide to using a quill for us, i’m still always cutting the paper every so often. I use Higgins ink the quill since it’s not so thick, think ink will _not_ work on a quill which I only realised once I got it.
I always find things wrong with a drawing once i’ve left it for a few hours and come back, it seems you become to involved with a drawing and begin to miss a few things and begin to make mistakes, I need to learn how to critisize myself continuously throughout a peice.

I remember my crappy old quills tearing the paper when I used them years ago, though I suspect it’s more the paper’s fault than the quill’s. You might wanna try something with a smoother surface.
