Dunno which of the gaming sections to post this in ‘cause it applies to all three, but what game are you currently playing? (Do we really need 3 seperate gaming subforums? It’s not like they’re posted in often enough to warrant it)
It’s Final Fantasy Tactics for me. I’ve tried starting it a few times but never had the time to do a full playthrough before. Hopefully I will rectify that. Am enjoying it so far; it’s like they removed all the crap parts of the main FF series, though it does have some quirks. The translation varies between awful and awkward and the difficulty can sometimes ramp up outta nowhere but the combat is fun enough that grinding isn’t really a problem.
PC:
Day of the Tantacle
WoW
Planescape: Torment
Sin: Episodes (arena mode: for 10-15 minute breaks at work)
I’m thinking I may have too many games going on at once right now, although I jump around a lot, play some in different places (Planescape, DoTT, and DS on the bus almost exclusively, Sin only at work), and am living with my in laws, so I kinda just hide out and play games :D
Gaf: I think I have officially and forever missed the boat on Marathon. I waited too long to play it, and it this point it’s so graphically long in the tooth that I just can’t bring myself to play it.
- Mostly WoW
- UT2004 when I feel like blasting shit
I need a new Mac Pro…

Star Fox Command
How is Starfox Command by the way? My initial impressions from just what I’ve seen in pictures and movieclips were a Starfox 64 like game but with better multiplayer support through the DS wifi. I really hope so, because no Starfox title since SF64 has been quite as fun. It really tempts me to get a DS just to play this game, I’ve always liked the Starfox titles since the SNES, but the Gamecube releases were not nearly as great.
Devil May Cry 3 SE (Greatest Hits)
Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King (have yet to start)
Drakengard
Street Fighter Alpha Anthology
Xbox:
Just finished The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction
Ninja Gaiden Black (fucking hard ass game!)
Crimson Skies
Soon to be getting LEGO Star Wars: The Original Trilogy
Game Cube:
X-Men Legends 1 and 2
Tales of Symphonia
PS1:
Chrono Trigger (old, yes, but I have yet to finish it)
yellow, you think you have a lot of games going on… I tend to jump around from game to game as well. I mean, I start playing a game for awhile and get into it then I find something new to start playing. Thats why I have a lot of games unfinished.
I’d love to play newer games on my Mac, but I just can’t… too damn old. I want the Mac Pro… but I gotta save up for a car first.
Despite popular belief, I play other games but WoW.
Mac
Wingnuts 2
WoW
MAFFia
I also have a copy of Civ 4 that I haven’t dared start for real since I’m afraid it would suck up the last of my free time.
Xbox 360 (been away from it all summer though)
Oblivion
Burnout Revenge
Full Auto
Table Tennis
NFS: Most Wanted
DS
Mario Cart DS
New Super Mario Bros
Also awaiting a copy of Tetris DS that should drop down my mailbox any day now.
But out of these WoW wins hands down in play time… mostly because it’s the most rewarding game to play cooperatively with Lovisa (and KoA, the Borkers and all our Horde friends that we’ve been forced to made since extremely few borkers cares about our efforts on that side).
Finished GTA:LCS a couple of weeks ago, and have been monkeying around in MGS2 since. I need to go buy something new, but honestly I don’t give myself much time to play, between work, drawing and fucking around online.

Multi-player is just like that of SF64, without the tanks. Once you get used to the touch screen countrols its a hell of alot of fun.
