So I went to go see this today, and I was wondering if anyone had seen it. I have questions, and need to discuss it with someone!
I loved the movie. The cinematagraphy was amazing (particuarly the Tokyo storyline - the club scene was awesome). The music is excellent as well. I find it sad that the movie was promoted on the Brad Pitt/Blanchlett duo, when in reality they are just one of the 3 storylines, and not the strongest one IMHO.
My question-
1) What is the deal with the Japanese girl’s mother? Why were the cops lied to? Why did the girl lie to her father about what happened?
I went to go see Babel at The Rave movie theatre. It’s the closest theatre to my place now, hadn’t gone there before. I’m used to crapy Loews/Cinemarks. This theatre was pretty badass. They also have the most DLP screens of any theatre in Texas. DLP = the shit. Movies are so much more striking in DLP than regular movie projectors.
