We have our own IRC channel registered to keep the madness going all around the clock (even though it’s just mad idling at some hours). To find the channel, you need an IRC client, if you don’t have one [URL=http://colloquy.info[/URL]Colloquy[/URL] is highly recommended.
Once you have that, log on to irc.gamesurge.net and /join #DoB
If you want some spiffy styles for Colloquy, you can download [URL=http://homepage.mac.com/johan.hansen/ColloquyStyles.zip]my own set of game inspired styles[/URL]. Granted, there’s a few IMG styles there as well, but as soon as we get our design figured out, I’ll do some DoB styles as well.
No offense but segregating Disciples of Bork from #IMG seems a little to isolationistic, as #IMG is a rather small community. Forum? Yeah, cool. Chat room? Hmm, don’t we need people to populate it?

I know I’ve asked this before, but I still can’t get onto the #IMG or #DoB chat. I used to be able too, but now it always stalls when it tries to connect to gamesurge and I have to forcequit. I’ve tried other ircchat programs but nothing seems to work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Can you join other IRC networks such as irc.freenode.net? Otherwise it’s probably a port thing. If you can join freenode, it’s a server thing, and I would try to log on to any of these servers to try to get past it:
Gamesurge has been having problems recently. Ive run into times where I couldnt log on to the server (i just get the curved arrow in the connections window of colloquy) for hours at a time.
I pretty much just leave it on if it doesnt connect at first, it usually goes eventually.
No news on the gamesurge website.. meh, who knows.
Well. More Gamesurge problems. Any suggestions on other places we can congregate? AIM chat room? some other IRC server… one that, you know, actually functions all the time?
We should get everyone on Skype and then we could yell obscenities at each other rather than typing everything. I’ll make a thread where people can post their screen names if you’d like?
