The end of 50 cent?

http://music.yahoo.com/read/news/47948880

Also, i really can’t stand how they use the “word” “Fiddy” as if its his real name. http://music.yahoo.com/read/news/47890287

While as amusing as it is, 50 retracted on that awhile ago.

He also said he won’t stop making solo albums even if Kanye West, whose album Graduation is due the same day as Curtis, outsells his LP, as had been reported (see “50 Cent, Kanye Lead Fall Album Rush — Mariah, Chris Brown, Lupe Fiasco, Alicia Keys Follow”).

While he called West a talented producer, he also said the Chicago MC is a “worker bee” while he’s a “boss.” 50 emphasized the importance of album sales, saying that West selling more would mean that “he did a better job than me on his album.”

“Look at how you’re talking to me, like Kanye West is my equal right now,” 50 said, launching into a rather imprecise comparison. “That’s like me putting myself against Michael Jackson’s [album-release] date and then acting like, ‘Woah, it’s a battle between 50 Cent and Michael Jackson!’, when Thriller sold 30 million records and 50 Cent’s biggest album sold 12 [million], you feel what I’m saying?

50 Cent also suggested that the problem is that a majority of US citizens can’t afford maps like such as, South Africa, and, the Iraq, everywhere.

I bought Kanye’s album as usual but Kayne is a dick even if he makes descent music to the point I’m starting to reconsider supporting his ass. His VMA blow up was just retarded.

I hope they both go out of business. 50 cent is a poser and Kanye is a hack. Waste of time.

Why didn’t Kanye win any awards at the VMA’s? Because hes a black man.

Actually, let me correct myself. He’s a black crybaby

It’s not the end of 50 cent, but I do own 1 song from iTunes by Kanye West so I guess that makes me more of a Kanye West supporter than 50 cent. But really, I could care less about either of them. 50 cent seems uptight and ignorant, and Kanye is whiny crybaby as Shawn said.

Kanye outsold 50 Cent. The reviews of Kanye’s album vs 50’s were alone enough to make the prediction who’d sell more on merit.

Graduation is a bit of a departure from his previous sonic template, rather than using soul sounds, Kanye moved to more electronic sounds. Instead of flipping sped up samples from motown, this time he’s sampling Daft Punk, Can and rock samples from Mountain and Steely Dan. Now I’m all for artist growth but on the lyrical tip, Kayne mostly brags his way through this album and his raps just don’t seem to be as well written or constructed as previous albums. Perhaps long time calibrators, Rhymefest and Consequence weren’t helping Kanye pen his rhymes but it seems he’s lost a step. If you were to ask me tho’, his best verses were on college dropout (he persuaded me he was decent MC after Never Let Me Down, Last Call and Through the wire).

Partly because of the objectionably bad year of commercial hip hop, Kanye seems like the golden child.
