Grand Theft Auto is not a perfect 10 but its a damn fine game.
I played about 3 hours at work today on the clock in my office. (I’ll say, having your own back corner office is a beautiful thing sometimes). It played like GTA still, nothing as big of change as I’d like. Combat has always been semi-broken but its a little better. As my roommate put it, “Its GTA just with Next gen polish”. Regardless what the hype machine says, its still sandbox, the city just doesn’t offer enough to really make it feel like a city yet. The best part of the game is the chaos online play offers. I don’t think its deep enough to have captivated for ages but its a damn nice change up. There just aren’t enough games that recreate drive by shootings.

I thought GTA III was fucking boring. I can only go on a killing spree so many times, and all the missions were bland and repetitive.
GTAIV better have more than 7 kinds of car and a garbage truck.
