I’m used to paying around 20 cents in China, and it was much faster there, too. Though at least the whole non-laotian internet never gets blocked here. And consider that I can get a single room with private bathroom and fan for around 4 bucks and a full meal for 3. 2 bucks is a lot relative to pay for slow internet.
Well, as for most expensive internet so far, Hilton Metropol in London wins for me, £15 ($25) per night you stay there. It was cheaper roaming on my mobile what little I really needed it. The room was almost cheaper than the internet
