Since you’re all such electronic freaks, has anyone heard Infected Mushroom’s Classic Mushroom? Is it any good? How much of a classical influence does it have?

I love combinations of classical music other genres(ie Children of Bodom, Gershwin), but my only experience with electronic music has been a little Kraftwerk.

I saw Children of Bodom live a few years back. One of the top 3 gigs I’ve EVER been too. Lost all my CoB cd’s though :(

What about Jedi Mind Tricks. They throw lots of classical composition into their raps.

Right now however, I’m listening to the good old Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring soundtrack. Ultimately better than The Two Towers and The Return of the King, in regards to cinematic quality and musical score.

But my album of the 1st half 2005 (despite being released in 2004) is Hexstatic’s ‘Master-View’ album.  Everything Hexstatic do is pure fucking gold in my mind.

CoB live? I can imagine how good it would be. Hope they make it down under some day.
